For seniors, the library can help you stay active, healthy and sharp. Pick up a new hobby or skill, connect with new friends and learn all about the valuable resources available to you. Visit your Windermere Branch on Saturday, November 21, at 10:30 a.m. to embark on a joyful journey of mindful movement and breathing techniques with qigong instructor Jasmine Win. Build your tech skills and learn to navigate your computer with a computer mouse skills class on Monday, November 2, at 10:30 a.m. and a typing skills class at 11:45 a.m. Then unleash your creativity with a Microsoft Paint class on Monday, November 16, at 10:30 a.m.

There are plenty of senior programs to discover at other locations too! Meet new friends at the nearby Winter Garden Branch and play for your chance to win a fun prize at Bingo for Seniors on Monday, November 2, and Monday, November 30, at 2:30 p.m. For a refreshing fall beverage and sweet treat, join the Senior Cider Social on Monday, November 16, at 2:30 p.m. At Southwest Branch, visit this year's Senior Resource Fair on Saturday, November 14, at 11 a.m. to connect with local community organizations that provide services for seniors.

Looking for fun activities for the whole family this fall? Get in a Mesozoic mood with the Hiawassee Branch as they celebrate DINOvember! Junior scientists can explore STEAM concepts with Fossil Finders and Dino Names on Wednesday, November 4 and Thursday, November 5, at 4:30 p.m. On Friday, November 6, artsy toddlers can create a dinosaur-inspired work of art at 3 p.m. and children ages 6-12 can unleash their creativity as they create a dinosaur egg masterpiece at 4:30 p.m.
