It’s easier than ever to unlock all your library card has to offer with our new mobile app, now available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Our new OCLS app makes it easy for customers to sign up for classes and events, access digital books and materials, reserve a room or meeting space and even check out books while browsing through the library’s stacks. Caregivers will enjoy the ease of toggling through separate accounts all in one place, and the app also allows you to add your card to your phone’s mobile wallet. I hope you will download this free resource and explore all we have to offer. You can find it in your app store by searching Orange County Library System.

Your OCLS library card is a gateway to innovation and education, no matter your age, and summer is a great time to explore ways to get the most from your card. July at Windermere Branch is full of fun programs for families, including Spheres Bubble Show on July 9 and WONGA! LET'S GO! African Drum and Dance Fun on July 21. We offer programming and storytimes for young children that build and develop early literacy skills. As children grow, so do our offerings for them: STEM and study help, movement and music, authors and art for kids, tweens and teens. But learning shouldn’t stop with school years and our commitment to your lifelong learning, creative pursuits and cultural opportunities continues to grow.

Our Summer at Your Library program is still going strong; this month, kids who have logged 600 minutes in our Summer Reading Challenge can stop by the Windermere Branch or any of our 15 locations to pick up a prize bag, while supplies last, and register for the End of Summer Celebration on July 23. If you haven’t stopped by your local library to see one of our great presenters or attend a program this summer, I hope you will make the time. There’s always something new to see at your library.
